A 10-year management program was created for 25 buildings totaling 500K sq ft of roof area with various roof and waterproofing/facade systems. The survey included visual inspection, core sample analysis, construction archive research, building envelope system archive research, drawing file inventory and roof system prioritization. The database was integrated with the Lab’s existing CADD, financial and maintenance management software.
The program provided capital and maintenance budgets that successfully launched in 2015. Conley Group provided design and construction administration on roofing and waterproofing projects. All DWU managed facilities were assessed in 2015 to create the database and to develop a 10-year capital/expense budget plan for fiscal year 2015 through 2026.
