Allana Buick & Bers, Inc (ABBAE) was retained by Vanir Construction Management to provide building enclosure consulting services for the Placer County Minimum Security, South County Adult Correctional Facility located at Justice Center Drive and Industrial Avenue in Roseville, California

The facility consists of a single-story medium security dormitory type jail structure. It is constructed of a conventional reinforced concrete spread footing foundation, reinforced concrete slap on grade floors, a steel moment frame structure and a steel pan roof deck. Exterior and interior in fill walls are framed in light gauge steel construction. The building enclosure consist of sub slab vapor retarded, exterior cement plaster over gypsum sheathing walls and an insulated single ply roof membranes. Exterior windows are insulated aluminum frames with security glazing as well as aluminum storefront assemblies.
