Conley Group, An ABBAE Company, was retained by Manhattan Construction Company to provide design review, construction documents, bid phase support, and construction administration for George W. Bush Presidential Center located in Dallas, Texas.

The George W. Bush Presidential Center, which opened in 2013, is a complex that includes former U.S. President George W. Bush’s presidential library and museum, the George W. Bush Policy Institute, and the offices of the George W. Bush Foundation. It is located on the campus of Southern Methodist University (SMU) in Dallas, Texas.

Conley Group was selected by Manhattan Construction Company to provide specialized consulting services on below grade and building envelope systems. These included below grade waterproofing systems, vapor and moisture barriers, brick / stone wall details, roofing systems, green roof assemblies, flashing and sheet metal assemblies, joint sealants, and more. Conley Group reviewed all construction documents, subcontractor scopes/contracts, and drawings. We also provided a mock-up review, field testing observation, and periodic on-site visits.

Conley Group provided the contractor, Manhattan Construction Company, with thorough review of the below grade and exterior enclosure systems, including reports, testing and site visits to ensure a watertight weather barrier and successful project.
