Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABB) was retained by The Irvine Company Apartment Communities (TICAC) to provide design, bidding and construction phase services on the Crescent Village multi-family apartment village in San Jose.
Crescent Park contains 1,800 residential units and space for 3,000 cars. There are six three-story wood-frame buildings over a single story concrete podium. Amenities include a clubroom, fitness areas, a theater, retail areas, and a Resident Services Office.
ABB completed design for the building envelope including design of the waterproofing systems and roof integration. Our scope of work included construction monitoring of the below-grade waterproofing, podium waterproofing, planter waterproofing, private deck waterproofing, waterproofing behind exterior wall finishes, low-slope roofing, and steep-slope roofing.
