Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained to perform a variety of consulting and construction support services for the Princeville Resort & Condominium Vacation Ownership, a new resort hotel on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
The resort and condominium complex has 366 units in seven 2 and 3 story residential buildings along with a main amenities building.
The buildings have concrete foundations with structural steel, light gauge steel walls, light weight concrete over metal deck, concrete tile roofs and synthetic thatch roofs for selected buildings. Exteriors consist of Hardi-Board wood panel board and batten siding, battens and cast rock veneer.
ABBAE provided roofing, water proofing and below-grade waterproofing, along with building envelope consulting. We provided construction documents, construction administration, monitoring and control for these scopes of work.
