Allana Buick & Bers, Inc (ABBAE) was retained by San Francisco State University (SFSU) to provide forensic investigation and remedial repair solutions for water leaks related to the exterior of a community building on a college campus.

The Cesar Chavez Student Center at SFSU was originally built in 1975. The concrete building has three levels above ground, one level below and is a signature building on the main campus.

ABBAE was retained to determine the causes of leaks through the exterior concrete steps and waterproofing underneath. The waterproofing had failed, rendering the class room space unusable. In addition to our investigation and evaluation, we provided remedial design, construction documents and construction management.
