Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by Equity Residential to perform feasibility assessment and roof integration design services for this 90.72kW roof mounted building.

The Skyline Terrace is 1, 2, and 3 bedroom apartment complex. With apartments ranging from 938 SF to 1660 SF with amenities that include a business center, club house, parking, fitness center, pool, and sauna.

ABBAE used energy analysis and life cycle cost analysis to determine the economic value associated with the proposed renewable energy measure. This process involved technical investigation modeling of the proposed measure, estimate of operations and maintenance costs over time, and an energy financial analysis to rank the findings.

ABBAE’s scope of work included complete development, custom high rack mount design, energy engineering and installation, start-up, and commissioning of the system.
