Allana Buick & Bers, Inc. (ABBAE) was retained by Starwood Vacation Ownership (SVO) for leak investigation and reporting services for the Westin Lagunamar Ocean Resort.
ABBAE provided an investigation of the conditions causing the leaks on the interstitial space, below grade leaks, and the failure of the tiles on the exterior walls. ABBAE reviewed the construction documents provided by the owner and interviewed the on-site engineering staff to outline the existing conditions.
ABBAE investigated moisture intrusions in the soffit beneath the concrete floor systems and balcony decks. ABBAE prepared an initial report for the three areas with remedial repair recommendations.
